WHAT IS THE ATMOSPHERE?

Atmosphere is a mixture of mostly invisible gases that surrounds Earth. The envelope of gases surrounding the Earth of another planet. The things that make up atmosphere is exosphere, thermosphere, mesosphere, stratosphere and troposphere.

 

HOW DOES THE COMPOSITION AND STRUCTURE OF THE ATMOSPHERE PROTECT US?

The gases because they can support people and help them breath oxygen.

High in the atmosphere,a form of oxygen called Ozone shields. Same with oxygen and carbon dioxide.

 

 

What are the layers of the atmosphere?

• Exosphere

       1: Temp goes up with altitude

       2:Satellites orbit in this layer.

• Thermosphere

       1: Curtains of light called auroras occur in that layer.

       2: Temp  goes up with altitude its the hottest layer.

• Mesosphere

       1: Meteors burn at that layer

       2:radio waves reflected to Earth in this layer.

• Stratosphere

       1: Most jets fly to that area

       2:temp goes up with alltitude.

• Troposphere

       1: Its the layer nearest to Earth

       2 :temp droos as altitude increases.
